Scams & Malicious Emails
PM Law Limited and PM Property Lawyers Limited care a lot about our client’s security – and we would hate to see people abuse our brand to deceive you.

We are aware clients could be sent fraudulent emails and text messages claiming to come from PM Law Limited or PM Property Lawyers Limited.

Such communications may attempt to obtain your personal information, or ask you to open an attachment which will attempt to infect your computer or device with viruses or software to capture your personal information.

Such messages are not from PM Law Limited or PM Property Lawyers Limited. We would never send an email or text message to clients asking for personal and financial details, nor would we encourage you to sign up for unrelated services. If you receive these messages we would urge you not to enter any account or personal details.

Protect yourself:
If you receive a fraudulent message or have any concerns about a message, please don’t enter any account or personal details and contact us immediately to confirm its authenticity.
If you are concerned that you may have responded to a fraudulent message and your personal details have been compromised, we recommend the following steps:

If you have entered financial information, contact your bank or card provider immediately.

If you have entered mobile phone information or have received a premium subscription text, contact your mobile phone provider to cancel any unwanted subscriptions.

If you have entered any password information, change it using a new password that you don’t use for any other site. If you use the same password on multiple sites, change any passwords that may have been compromised, preferably using a strong, unique password for every site.

To help us investigate and take action, if you receive a suspicious e-mail or text message purporting to be from PM Law Limited or PM Property Lawyers Limited, telephone your file handler immediately to confirm whether the e-mail is genuine before clicking any links or opening any attachments. If the e-mail is not genuine we will advise you of what action to take next.
